Inscriptio Law and Legal Definition
Inscriptio is a Latin term used in civil law. It refers to a written accusation entered by an accuser against the accused. By an insciptio an accuser undertakes to suffer the punishment appropriate to the offense charged when the accused becomes capable of clearing himself/herself of the accusation.
