Insimul Computassent Law and Legal Definition
Insimul computassent is a Latin term meaning, “they accounted together. It is a count in an asuumsitaction asserting that the parties had reviewed their accounts. Insimul computassent also means that a defendant voluntarily agreed to pay the amount sought by a plaintiff. It is also a writ that lies between two merchants or other persons, upon an account stated between them.[Fraley v. Bispham, 10 Pa. 320, 325 (Pa. 1849)].
