Insimul Tenuit Law and Legal Definition
Insimul tenuit is a Latin Term which means ‘he held together.’ It means a species of writ brought by a coparcener against a stranger to remove a fee tail alienated by an earlier tenant. A writ of Formedon in the Descender is called a Insimul tenuit.
