Inspection Rights Law and Legal Definition
An inspection right refers to those rights that are available to a party to a proceeding to inspect documents or records of the other party. Additionally, a buyer has the right to the inspection of goods under the Uniform Commercial Code. Pursuant to U.C.C. § 2-513 “…where goods are tendered or delivered or identified to the contract for sale, the buyer has a right before payment or acceptance to inspect them at any reasonable place and time and in any reasonable manner.”
