Institute for a Drug-Free Workplace Law and Legal Definition
The Institute for a Drug-Free Workplace is an independent 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation. The institute is dedicated towards preserving the rights of employers and employees in drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs. The Institute offers resources for employers and employees on substance-abuse detection, prevention, policy implementation, and employee education.
Major employers and employer organizations, leading U.S. companies in the field of petrochemical, manufacturing, high technology, construction, pharmaceutical, hospitality, retail, and transportation industries, and many trade associations and community coalitions representing businesses of all sizes are members of the institute.
