Interim Federal Specification Law and Legal Definition

According to 41 CFR 101-29.204 [Title 41 Public Contracts and Property Management; Subtitle C Federal Property Management Regulations System; Chapter 101 Federal Property Management Regulations; Subchapter E Supply and Procurement; Part 101-29 Federal Product Descriptions], interim Federal specification is a potential Federal specification issued in temporary form for optional use by all Federal agencies.
