International Application Originating in the U.S. Law and Legal Definition
Federal law defines international application originating in the U.S. as “an international application filed in the patent and trademark office when it is acting as a receiving office under the Patent Cooperation Treaty, irrespective of whether or not the U.S. has been designated in that international application.” (35 USCS § 351)
