International Development Association Law and Legal Definition
International Development Association (IDA) is a United Nations specialized agency, affiliated with the World Bank. IDA grants development credits to the poorer member countries of the World Bank on a long term, interest free basis. IDA receives funds from the World Bank and from subscriptions and contributions from the wealthier World Bank member countries.
