International Searching Authority Law and Legal Definition
According to 35 USCS § 351(g) [Title 35. Patents; Part IV. Patent Cooperation Treaty; Chapter 35. Definitions] the term "International Searching Authority" means “a national patent office or intergovernmental organization as appointed under the treaty which processes international applications as prescribed by the treaty and the Regulations.”
