International Student Advisor (ISA) Law and Legal Definition
International student advisor (ISA) is the in-charge person at a university. The ISA provides information and guidance to international students about government regulations, visas, academic regulations, social issues, languages, finance, housing, travel, insurance, legal matters and all other related issues with studies. An ISA is an educator who advises students in academic and personal matters. ISA’s assist with employment workshops, orientation presentations, and other educational initiatives that serve to inform students or other members of the community about immigration services.
