Interned Alien Law and Legal Definition
Interned alien is an enemy alien confined as a prisoner of war, pursuant to an order issued by the President, for the purposes of a writ of habeas corpus. Interned alien status does not prevent the enforcement of contract rights or the right of the alien to sue in the courts of the country in which he is interned.
