Intervention Petition Law and Legal Definition
An intervention petition is a National Labor relations Board designated form filed by a labor organization seeking to participate in an election to be held pursuant to a representation petition. The petition must be supported by a showing of interest that at least 10% of the employees wish to be represented by the intervening labor organization. If the intervening labor organization satisfies the above requirements it will also be placed on the ballot for the representation election.
