Joint refers to undivided and shared by two or more persons or entities. Joint can be related to rights, responsibilities, or ownership. For example, when property is held in joint tenancy, each joint tenant has the right to the use and enjoyment of the entire property. Likewise, joint action is one which is brought by several persons acting together.
