K-2 Visa Law and Legal Definition
The K-2 Visa is a nonimmigrant visa that is issued in favor of the child of a K-1 fiance visa holder. A K2 Visa allows the child to enter into the U.S. and await the availability of an immigrant visa.
In order to be eligible for a K2 Visa, the applicant :
1. Must be below the age of 21.
2. The unmarried child of a K-1 fiance visa holder.
3. Must seek to immigrate to the U.S.
