Narcotics Offense [Foreign Relations] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 22 CFR 140.3 (g) [Title 22 Foreign Relations; Chapter I Department of State; Subchapter N Miscellaneous; Part 140 Prohibition on Assistance to Drug Traffickers; Subpart A General], Narcotics Offense is “a violation of, or a conspiracy to violate, any law or regulation of the United States, a State or the District of Columbia, or a foreign country relating to narcotic or psychotropic drugs or other controlled substances.”
