Narrow-Channel Rule Law and Legal Definition
Narrow channel rule is a navigational requirement that a vessel traveling down a slim fairway must keep as near to the fairway wall on the vessel's starboard side as is safe and practicable. The rule is codified at 33 USCS § 2009(a)(i).
