National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities [NCEF] Law and Legal Definition
National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF) is an extensive U.S. source of school facilities planning, designing, funding, building, improving, and maintaining safe, healthy, and high performance in schools and universities. NCEF was created in the year 1997 by the U.S. Department of Education. NCEF is managed by the National Institute of Building Sciences. Major users of NCEF are school administrators, facility managers, designers, and researchers. NCEF provides a free public service. NCEF's website provides school facilities news, events, data, and statistics.
