National Collegiate Athletic Association Law and Legal Definition
National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a governing body for male and female athletes of member universities and colleges. The NCAA was created in 1906 by the then-president Theodore Roosevelt. Its headquarters is in Indianapolis, Indiana. The NCAA holds annual championships in various athletic activities such as football, basketball, tennis, swimming, golf, and skiing.
