National Fire Protection Association Law and Legal Definition
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is a U.S. technical organization that researches the reasons and causes for fires and publishes the National Fire Code. NFPA disseminates, develops, and publishes fire safety standards in the U.S. The mission of NFPA is creating and maintaining minimum standards and requirements for fire prevention and suppression activities, training, and equipment, as well as other life-safety codes and standards.
