National Forensic Science Technology Center [NFSTC] Law and Legal Definition
The National Forensic Science Technology Center (NFSTC) is a not-for-profit corporation set up by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD) in association with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to provide programs that build individual competency and quality system for the forensic community in the U.S. The NFSTC is dedicated to support the justice community through innovative research, programs, evaluation of the latest technologies, forensic science education and laboratory quality reviews. The mission of the center is to provide the highest level of forensic science services.
