National Intelligence Board Law and Legal Definition
The National Intelligence Board is a body comprised of the heads of all the U.S. intelligence agencies. It is led by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI). The board serves as a board of directors for U.S. intelligence and evaluates and approves national intelligence estimates (NIEs) and special national intelligence estimates. The National Intelligence Board is formerly known as the National Foreign Intelligence Board.
