National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act Law and Legal Definition
National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act, 42 USCS § 5401, is an act to establish a program of community development block grants, to amend and extend laws relating to housing and urban development, and for other purposes. Its purpose is to reduce the number of personal injuries and deaths, and the amount of insurance costs and property damage resulting from mobile home accidents, and to improve the quality and durability of mobile homes. It is formerly known as National Mobile Home Construction and Safety Standards Act.
