National Sexual Violence Resource Center [NSVRC] Law and Legal Definition
The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) is the U.S. ‘s principle information and resource center regarding all aspects of sexual violence. The NSRVC provides national leadership, consultation and technical assistance by generating and facilitating the development and flow of information on sexual violence intervention and prevention strategies.
The NSVRC aims to :
a. encourage state, territory, tribal and local organizations and groups that works on sexual violence awareness and prevention;
b. highlight sexual violence as a major issue in the communities and reinforce the need for prevention efforts; and
c. address the causes and impact of sexual violence through collaboration, prevention efforts and the distribution of resources.
