National Strike Force Coordination Center Law and Legal Definition
National Strike Force Coordination Center (NSFCC) is an entity within the U.S. Coast Guard. It has a wide range of responsibilities that include administration of the USCG Strike Teams, maintenance of response equipment inventories and logistic networks, and conducting a national exercise program. [40 CFR 300.5]. The NSFCC is authorized as the National Response Unit by sections 311(a)(23) and (j)(2) of the Clean Water Act.
