Native American Samoan Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 410qq-3, [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 1. National Parks, Military Parks, Monuments, and Seashores; National Park of American Samoa] the term native American Samoan means “a person who is a citizen or national of the United States and who is a lineal descendant of an inhabitant of the Samoan Islands on April 18, 1900. For purposes of this Act [16 USCS §§ 410qq et seq.], Swains Island shall be considered part of the Samoan Islands.”
