Native Hawaiian Language [Education] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 20 USCS § 7517 (4) [Title 20. Education; Chapter 70. Strengthening and Improvement of Elementary and Secondary Schools; Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native Education; Native Hawaiian Education], the term Native Hawaiian language means “the single Native American language indigenous to the original inhabitants of the State of Hawaii.”
