Natural Uranium [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 110.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 110 -- Export and Import of Nuclear Equipment and Material; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term natural uranium means “uranium as found in nature, containing about 0.711 percent of uranium-235, 99.283 percent of uranium-238, and a trace (0.006 percent) of uranium-234.”
