Naturally Degradable Material Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 6914b [Title 42. The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 82. Solid Waste Disposal; Office of Solid Waste; Authorities of the Administrator], the term "naturally degradable material" means a material which, when discarded, will be reduced to environmentally benign subunits under the action of normal environmental forces, such as, among others, biological decomposition, photodegradation, or hydrolysis.
