Nemo Ad Littus Maris Accedere Prohibetur Law and Legal Definition
The sea shore being the land which lies between high and low water mark is the land of state. As such its authority is vested with the state in trust for public. Nemo Ad Littus Maris Accedere Prohibetur means no one can be prevented from having access to the sea shore. Moreover, no one can be prevented from using land for any lawful purpose. However, that does not mean that, no one can insist on gaining access to the sea shore through private lands. It is because it can amount to trespass.
