Net Proceeds [Education] Law and Legal Definition
According to 34 CFR 395.1 (k) [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education; Chapter III -- Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, Department of Education; Part 395 -- Vending Facility Program for the Blind on Federal and Other Property; Subpart A -- Definitions], the term net proceeds means “the amount remaining from the sale of articles or services of vending facilities, and any vending machine or other income accruing to blind vendors after deducting the cost of such sale and other expenses (excluding set-aside charges required to be paid by such blind vendors).”
