Neutralist Policy Law and Legal Definition
Neutralist policy refers to a foreign policy by which a state intends to remain neutral in future wars. Two types of neutralist policies are non-alignment and armed neutrality. Non-alignment is the implementation of neutralism by avoiding military alliances. Armed neutrality is the condition in which a sovereign state reserves the right to become a belligerent when attacked by a party to the war.
