New Chemical Substance Law and Legal Definition
According to 15 USCS § 2602 (9), [Title 15. Commerce and Trade; Chapter 53. Toxic Substances Control; Control of Toxic Substances] the term new chemical substance means “any chemical substance which is not included in the chemical substance list compiled and published under section 8(b) [15 USCS § 2607(b)].”
