Newborn’s and Mother’s Health Protection Act Law and Legal Definition
The Newborn’s and Mother’s Health Protection Act of 1996 was in relation to the coverage of maternity through health insurance plans. The Act covered the whole of U.S. The Act provides for a maternity coverage that pay upto 48 hours stay in the hospital after childbirth. The Act prohibits incentives that encourage minimum protection under the Act.
