Nomination paper is a document filed by an independent political group. A nomination paper can be filed only in person or by an agent. A nomination paper cannot be faxed or e-mailed. The person being nominated is responsible to file a complete and accurate nomination paper. This is filed by an independent political group to place one or more nominees on a general-election ballot.
