Non-Adopted Decision Law and Legal Definition
A non-adopted decision is a proposed decision that was not adopted by a Presiding Judge or by action of law. When a Director’s alternate decision is released or when a further hearing is ordered, a proposed decision becomes a non-adopted decision. However, the release of the Director’s alternated decision or a further hearing should occur on or before the certification expiration date. A non-adopted decision is void. Support staff affixes a void stamp to each page of a non-adopted proposed decision.
