Non Commercial Agreement Law and Legal Definition
Non commercial agreement refers to a consumer-credit agreement or a consumer-hire agreement, made by a creditor or owner. A noncommercial agreement is made out of the course of business.
An attorney fees provision in a non-commercial agreement is enforceable and not void as against public policy so long as the fees awarded is fair, just, and reasonable. [Buckeye Check Cashing, Inc. v. Madison, 2008 Ohio 5124, P18 (Ohio Ct. App. 2008)]
