Non-Emergency Services Law and Legal Definition
Non-emergency services means any care or services furnished in the emergency department of a hospital. In other words, it means treatment provided by the hospital to a patient who approaches the hospital’s emergency department. It does not include an appropriate medical screening examination or stabilizing examination.
