Non-Federal Account [Federal Elections] Law and Legal Definition
According to 11 CFR 300.2 (j) [Title 11 -- Federal Elections; Chapter I -- Federal Election Commission; Subchapter C -- Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 -- (BCRA) Regulations; Part 300 -- Non-Federal Funds], the term Non-Federal account means “an account that contains funds to be used in connection with a State or local election or allocable expenses under 11 CFR 106.7, 300.30, or 300.33.”
