Non-Profit Elementary or Secondary School Law and Legal Definition
According to 15 USCS § 2642 [Title 15. Commerce and Trade; Chapter 53. Toxic Substances Control; Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response], the term "non-profit elementary or secondary school" means “any elementary or secondary school (as defined in section 9101 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 [20 USCS § 7801]) owned and operated by one or more nonprofit corporations or associations no part of the net earnings of which inures, or may lawfully inure, to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual.”
