Non Resident Motorist Statute is a state law governing the liabilities and obligations of nonresidents who use the state’s highways. For instance, the nonresident motorist statute of Oklahoma, imposes a contractual obligation on nonresident motorists who use the highways of the state for the operation of their motor vehicles. [Hasse v. American Photograph Corp., 299 F.2d 666 (10th Cir. Okla. 1962)]. (However, at present the statute is repealed.)
