Noneconomic Damages Law and Legal Definition
According to 6 CFR 25.2 ( Title 6 - Homeland Security; Chapter I - Department Of Homeland Security, Office Of The Secretary; Part 25 - Regulations To Support Anti-Terrorism By Fostering Effective Technologies), the term noneconomic damages means “damages for losses for physical and emotional pain, suffering, inconvenience, physical impairment, mental anguish, disfigurement, loss of enjoyment of life, loss of society and companionship, loss of consortium, hedonic damages, injury to reputation, and any other nonpecuniary losses.”
