Notice of Completion Law and Legal Definition
Notice of completion is a notice filed by the owner of a construction project, in the county records office, stating that construction has been completed and all creditors have been paid. After the notice is filed, unpaid creditors may generally file a mechanic's lien within a prescribed period of time to preserve a security interest in the construction project.
