Noxa Law and Legal Definition
Noxa is a Latin term that means injury, where an injury is caused either by slave, son, or animal. Any injury so caused either by a slave, son, or animal is considered as an offence. The obligation to pay for the damaged caused for such injury is placed on the father or the master. Under the Roman law if the father or master fails to pay the damage then they will have to surrender the offender to the injured party.
