Noxal Action Law and Legal Definition
Noxal action means an injurious action, where a person injured brings a claim against a master or father for a tort committed either by a slave, son, or animal. In this type of claim the head of the family could be sued to pay a penalty or asked to surrender the tortfeasor to the victim. Under the Roman law, surrender of animals is also permitted.
