NRCS Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 12.2 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle A -- Office of the Secretary of Agriculture; Part 12 -- Highly Erodible Land and Wetland Conservation; Subpart A -- General Provisions], NRCS means the Natural Resources Conservation Service, an agency within United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) which is generally responsible for providing technical assistance in matters of natural resources conservation and for administering certain conservation programs of USDA.
