Nuclear Regulatory Commission Training Authorization Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 10226, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is authorized and directed to promulgate regulations for the training and qualifications of civilian nuclear power plant operators, supervisors, technicians and other appropriate operating personnel. Such regulations or guidance establish simulator training requirements for applicants for civilian nuclear power plant operator licenses, requirements for operating tests at civilian nuclear power plant simulators, and instructional requirements for civilian nuclear power plant licensee personnel training programs.
