Nutrient Premix [Food and Drugs] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 21 CFR 106.3 (e) [Title 21 Food and Drugs; Chapter I Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services; Subchapter B Food for Human Consumption; Part 106 Infant Formula Quality Control Procedures; Subpart A General Provisions], Nutrient Premix “is a combination of ingredients containing two or more nutrients. A nutrient premix either may be received from a supplier or be prepared by an infant formula manufacturer.”
