Off-Track Pari-Mutuel System Law and Legal Definition
Off-track pari-mutuel system means a computerized system, or component of such a system, that is used in connection with a pari-mutuel pool to transmit information on wagering such as, amounts wagered, odds and payoffs on races. In parimutuel betting the gambler bets against other gamblers. The parimutuel system is usually used in gambling on horse racing.
