Office of Labor Relations [HUD] Law and Legal Definition
The Office of Labor Relations of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is responsible for HUD's overall compliance with the federal prevailing wage requirements applicable to HUD-assisted and insured housing and community development programs.
The functions of the Labor Relations Office include:
a. to administer Federal prevailing wage requirements applicable to maintenance of employees of public housing agencies and Tribally Designated Housing Entities;
c. to supervise HUD's overall compliance with the Federal prevailing wage requirements applicable to HUD-assisted and insured housing and community development programs;
c. to administer Federal prevailing wage requirements applicable to maintenance employees of public housing agencies and Tribally Designated Housing Entities; and
d. to provide guidance as to federal prevailing wage requirements to local regions.
