Office of Media Relations [FCC] Law and Legal Definition
The Office of Media Relations (OMR) is a staff office of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The OMR is responsible for the dissemination of information on the FCC issues.
The functions of the OMR include ;
a. coordinating media requests for information and interviews on the FCC proceedings and activities ;
b. encouraging and facilitating media dissemination of the FCC announcements, orders, and other information; and
c. managing the FCC Daily Digest, the FCC internet website and the FCC Audio Visual Center.
